THE MUSCLE & TISSUE HEALING PEPTIDE
Thymosin is a multifunctional peptide shown to be mainly involved in the healing of tissues. It is found in almost all body tissues, especially in our muscles, and is released in response to trauma. Made in the thymus (the gland responsible for maturing our immune system), it plays an important role in regenerating and healing tissues by attracting stem progenitor cells too area of injuries, which form new blood vessels and regenerate tissue. It is a good option to use after surgery, an injury to skin, bone, cartilage or tendons. It has also been shown to modulate tissue repair after a heart attack or any brain injury. It also has potent anti-inflammatory properties. Thymosin Beta 4 can also induce hair growth.
SIDE EFFECTS: Although large scale human studies are yet to be done, Thymosin Beta 4 is well tolerated and has minimal side effects in our experience. Local injection area complications (bleeding, infection, irritation) may occur if not injected properly.
