WHY GO THIS DEEP

Most functional medicine workups stop where we start.

Standard bloodwork measures 15 to 30 biomarkers. The Core Physical adds specialty biomarker panels and an in-office assessment of how your body is working today.

The biomarker testing covers an expanded baseline, micronutrients, toxin exposure and food sensitivity. In the clinic, we measure your arteries, heart, grip strength, lungs, body composition and cognition, the same way every visit, so progress is something you can see.

We built the Core Physical in collaboration with leading functional medicine clinicians to address exactly that gap. Each test is chosen to add something the others do not.

None of this matters without expert interpretation. A large set of results is overwhelming on its own. We pair the testing with a one- to two-hour consultation with a functional medicine Provider who reviews every relevant data point and builds a personalized plan from the patterns. The data is the foundation. The interpretation is the deliverable.

Part 01

Total Baseline Health Markers

What we test

An expanded baseline panel covering metabolic markers (glucose regulation, lipid metabolism, insulin sensitivity), inflammatory markers (hsCRP, homocysteine), advanced cardiovascular markers (ApoB, Lp(a), lipid subfractions), and foundational hormonal status.

What it reveals

Your foundational health status across the four most important biomarker categories for longevity. Metabolic dysfunction, cardiovascular risk standard testing misses, inflammation driving chronic conditions, and hormonal imbalances that show up before symptoms.

Part 02

Micronutrient & Nutrient Status

What we test

Cellular-level micronutrient assessment across 35+ vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants, measured inside the cell, where a deficiency actually shows.

What it reveals

Functional deficiencies that drive fatigue, cognitive symptoms, and metabolic dysfunction. Most patients are surprised by what they're depleted in despite a healthy diet and a clean blood panel.

Toxin Exposure & Food Sensitivity

What we test

The urine-based Toxin Zoomer panel for environmental toxin exposure, paired with an IgG-based food sensitivity panel.

What it reveals

A measured view of environmental exposures and food reactivity, so your Provider can factor them into your plan.

In-Office Core Assessment

What we test

Six stations at a Next Health clinic: Conneqt vascular assessment (blood pressure, central pressure, SEVR), iHeart (HRV, heart age, SpO2, aortic stiffness), grip strength, lung function by spirometer (PEF, FEV1), InBody body composition with waist and hip measurements, and cognitive screening (MoCA, DSST, Stroop).

What it reveals

A full-body baseline of how your vascular, cardiovascular, strength, lung, body-composition and cognitive measures look today, measured the same way every visit so you can compare over time.

Nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle interventions, treatment recommendations, and follow-up priorities, specific to your biomarker findings and your goals, not a template. Patients refer back for months or years.

Your In-Office Baseline

Your Core Assessment results for vascular, heart, strength, lung, body composition and cognitive measures, recorded so future visits can be compared against them.
