Peptide Pen Guide

Your Medical Provider will send your prescribed dose by email. Turn the dial on the pen to the number of units prescribed before injecting.

Please note: you will receive either reconstitution syringes or insulin syringes to complete the reconstitution steps.

1Disinfect the tops of both vials (peptide & bacteriostatic water) with alcohol swabs.
2Draw air into the syringe equal to the amount of bacteriostatic water you'll use. Inject this air into the water vial (this helps avoid pressure build-up).
3Withdraw the prescribed amount of bacteriostatic water.
4Inject bacteriostatic water slowly into the peptide vial, letting it run down the inside of the vial — avoid shaking.
5Gently swirl the vial (do not shake) until the powder fully dissolves.
6Label the vial with the date. Reconstituted peptides are stable up to 90 days.

Store reconstituted peptides in the refrigerator.
Keep reconstituted peptides away from direct light and do not freeze.
Ensure the vial is upright and securely sealed.
Shelf life: most peptides are stable for up to 90 days after reconstitution — check your Medical Provider's guidance.

Dosage and injection timing may vary based on individual needs and treatment goals.
Follow your Medical Provider's recommendations to ensure safe and effective use.

1Choose your injection site (usually the belly fat around the navel or outer thigh).
2Clean the injection site area and vial top with alcohol swabs.
3Draw your dose carefully using the syringe (refer to instructed dosage from your Medical Provider).
4Pinch the skin, insert the needle at a 90° angle, and inject slowly.
5Dispose of the needle safely in your sharps container.

Always place used needles directly into an FDA-cleared sharps disposal container — never in the trash or recycling.
These containers are puncture-resistant and leak-proof with a secure lid.
Available at pharmacies, medical supply stores, or online.

Improper disposal can injure others and spread serious infections like HBV, HCV, and HIV.

Do not throw full sharps containers in household trash.

What if I bent the needle?: Do not use a bent or damaged needle. Dispose of it safely in a sharps container and use a new syringe.
What if I feel pain, swelling, or redness?: Mild irritation at the injection site can be normal. However, if symptoms worsen or persist, contact your Medical Provider.
Can I travel with peptides?: Yes. Use a travel-friendly insulin cooler to keep your peptides cool during travel. We can provide a travel letter upon request to assist with security or customs checks.
What if I miss a dose?: Do not double up. Simply take your next scheduled dose as usual.
