Dr. Anna Emanuel is a board-certified family and integrative medicine physician with extensive experience in both clinical practice and leadership. With years of experience in functional and proactive medicine, she has guided patients through advanced approaches that emphasize prevention, root-cause healing, and long-term health optimization.Dr. Emanuel completed her Family Medicine Residency at Loma Linda University Health, where she was an active member of the OB Task Force and Cancer Committee, and she further advanced her expertise through an Academic Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She is board certified by both the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Integrative Medicine and holds a Physician Acupuncture Certification from the Helms Medical Institute.Passionate about empowering patients with preventive and lifestyle-based approaches to health, Dr. Emanuel’s professional interests include hormonal health, nutrition, mental health, weight management, sleep medicine, aging, and mind-body medicine. She has also contributed to medical research on geriatric education and diabetes interventions for women veterans.Fluent in Polish and Spanish, with working knowledge of French, Dr. Emanuel values a holistic and culturally sensitive approach to care. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the California Academy of Family Physicians, the California Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
